Diane is an experienced Solicitor whose professional background spans both in-house and private practice and includes court work. Diane advises across a broad spectrum of legal areas including, but not limited to, Immigration, Employment, Relationship Property, Property Law including Conveyancing, Estates, Trusts, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and General Dispute Resolution.
Diane’s specialist area of practice is New Zealand Immigration Law. Diane has extensive knowledge and 10+ years’ experience across this practice area successfully assisting individuals, families and employers. Diane offers a full range of immigration services, from providing general immigration advice, preparing all manner of visa applications and engaging with Immigration New Zealand, to making Ministerial Requests, advocating for clients facing deportation, appealing to the Immigration and Protection Tribunal and providing evidence in Court as an Expert Witness. Diane is a member of the New Zealand Association for Migration and Investment Inc.
Diane’s primary area of practice requires empathy, compassion, effective advocacy, complex problem solving, diplomacy, and clear communication. Diane strives to fully understand her clients’ needs and circumstances and act accordingly to achieve their objectives in a timely manner.

Getting to know Diane
Diane grew up in Dunedin and has 3 adult children with her husband, Paul (also a lawyer who she met in Law School). Fur babies now dominate family life and Diane can often be found at the dog park with Griffon babies in tow, playing golf, or relaxing in Paul’s small South Canterbury hometown.
